Starting in London

Some gardens are going to seed.
Some gardeners have no garden.

Communipi introduces the two. You bring the space or you bring the spade, and something grows in a patch that was doing nothing.

How it works

  1. 1

Say what you have, or what you want

Owners describe the patch - the sun, the soil, the shed full of tools nobody uses. Gardeners say how far they will travel and what they dream of growing.

  2. 2

    We introduce you

Matches are ranked by how close you are and how much your growing lists overlap. No algorithmic mystery: we show you why each one came up.

  3. 3

    Agree two things and start

Who keeps the harvest, and who sorts the tools. That is the whole agreement. Either of you can stop at any time, no notice needed.

Your address stays yours

The public map shows a pin nudged a few hundred metres. The real address is only shared once you have both agreed to work together.

Nothing to sign

Two questions, negotiated per match, changeable whenever. No contracts, no deposits, no notice periods.

Free, and staying that way

Communipi does not take a cut of anything. There is nothing to take a cut of.

There is a garden near you waiting for someone

It takes about three minutes to sign up, and there is nothing to cancel if you change your mind.
